The "Turning Angel" monument looks over the graves of several young women who were killed in an industrial fire in Natchez. Supposedly, as you pass the monument, it appears that the face of the angel turns to watch you. Betty had read a novel which was named after the monument and wanted to see it while we were in the area. The monument is located in an old, well-kept cemetary.
