We had such a good time last year that we decided to do a repeat of Christmas Eve at The Fairgrounds. This year Barry's parents, Bobby and Delores. came down fro m North Carolina. Jim and Mary Ann joined us late and had dinner with us. Bobby was the only winner, I think.
Gracie was one year old on December 21. On December 22, the guidrys, Nicholsons. Betty and I went to Lucedale, Ms., to celebrate her birthday and have an early Christmas with Jay, Danielle and the girls. Here's Gradie with one of her presents.
The Guidrys girls allowed my birthday to pass without acknowledging it. The girls did call me a couple of days later and I told them of how hurt I was that they had forgotten me. (Of course I was not serious.) Then to make matters worse, Abbi made name tags for their Thanksgiving dinner and placed MY name tag on a DOG, Barnaby. Now, that did hurt. On December 8, before Abbi's birthday celebration, they surprised me with all these Bob shirts. Funny!
On November 23rd Betty, Kristen,. Barry, Jennie and I went to the first Miracleon Ful;ton Street presentation in New Orleans. It was very nice. Fake snow (apparently made of bubbles), lots of Christmas decorations and live music on stage.
