While trying to get a photograph of a butterfly feeding on a butterfly plant, I accidently and unknowingly also photographed an assassin bug. I'm not sure if the assassin bug was preparing to attack the butterfly or not. It was not stalking the butterfly, though, because the butterfly had just lit on the plant to feed. The butterfly plant or weed is a milkweed that Monarch butterflies and others like to eat.
