This is a picture of my brother Charles Arthur Cathers (aka Art, Tex, Charlie and Doc) from about 1941 or '42. Weren't we a couple of cute little fellers back then. The dog eating a bisquit is Fido. We lived back in the hills of Kentucky when this photo was taken. World War Two was going on or very close to starting at the time. (Art was born May 6, 1940) Within the next year or two, we had moved to Hamilton, Ohio, and dad went to work in the war industry first at Mosler Safe Company and then at Black and Clawson.
